Capital Cup 2017

Our president, Darren Morris will be competing in this year’s Capital Cup. It’s a golf competition similar to the Ryder Cup format, where each player will be competing to raise money for their charity and a share of the $50,000 prize money contributing by the players.

This competition is more than about having fun on the golf course, it is about giving back to the community. Here is what Darren had to say about playing in this year’s Capital Cup for Easter Seals.

“While my golf game isn’t exactly built for competition anymore, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help raise money for Easter Seals. Easter Seals is a great organization that helps people of all ages to overcome the challenges of their disabilities. I have personally witnessed the importance of their work with our eight year-old daughter Kailea. She was born with a rare neurological condition that has delayed development of her physical and mental skills. For several years, Easter Seals therapists have come to our home and worked with her and our family to help her progress and have the best quality of life possible.”
